EXO D.O IS THE CUTEST LOVER IN HIS SOLO ALBUM ‘EMPATHY’

EXO D.O (Do Kyungsoo) who has finished his mandatory military service earlier this year has released his very first solo project called Empathy. It is an EP consisting 8 tracks including the title track called ROSE. Rose is a romantic song which shows the cute and romantic side of D.O in a best way. The EP is full of romantic and lovely tracks but the special thing about the EP is that D.O has added two bonus tracks, one is in English and other is in Spanish. It is complete happiness for EXO’s international fans.

Rose

The title track Rose is a romantic acoustic song with smooth vocals which will make you happy and blush at the same time. The song has a music video with beautiful and aesthetic visuals. And D.O’s cute way to express his feelings is making everyone fall in love with him.

I’m Gonna Love You

Second track I’m Gonna Love You is again a romantic song with acoustic guitar and minimum instrumentation. The song features Korean rapper and singer Wonstein. His smooth voice with D.O’s powerful vocals is a beautiful addition to the track.

My Love

Compared to previous tracks, this track is little smoother since D.O has sung this little differently. The music of the song is lo-fi with beautiful piano and guitar in the back. So this is my favorite track in the EP after Rose.

It’s Love

While My Love is little smoother, It’s Love is showcasing D.O’s powerful vocal agility with Spanish guitar as the backtrack. It is really beautiful song with beautiful lyrics.

Dad

Dad (Na-e abeoji) is beautiful song which confesses a grown up child’s feelings for his father. How a son who is now grown up enough to understand his father and wishes to have many experiences like his father. This is definitely worth a listen, how beautifully D.O has sung this, it might bring tears in your eyes.

I’m Fine

The dreamy backtrack with smooth electric guitar ‘I’m fine’ is the sixth track in the album. And R&B vocals of D.O is chef’s kiss in the song.

Rose – English Version

Rose – English Version as the name suggests, is the English version of the title track Rose and is added as the bonus in the EP. The lyrics are different than the Korean version but still romantic. And needless to say, international fans couldn’t ask for anything else from R&B king D.O. The lyrics of the song “If you need a Lover, Let me know” is making fans fall on love with D.O even more.

Si Fueras Mia

If you don’t know D.O and that he is Korean, you would never realize it after listening Si Fueras Mia that D.O is not a Latino. I’m not saying, but the south American fans are. His Spanish pronunciation sounds like he has been speaking it since childhood.

Si Fueras Mia is the Spanish version of It’s Love. The song was actually written in Spanish, so D.O decided to sing the original song as well and add it as a bonus track in the EP. And fans who speak Spanish are in cloud 9 after listening their K-pop artist sing in their language and that too so perfectly.
